This scene proves that Johnny is an asshole. Like he's charming as hell, but he is an abjectly awful person. He took another person's body on a joy ride, almost got someone killed, took unknown and unidentified drugs, and then finally called Rogue, his long-time friend to come to and get him. Johnny is likable because of how snarky and how he is about the corporations, but he is a real self-destructive person. Whose self-destructive behavior blows up on everyone else. I appreciate that this game gets it.

Agreed. I really hated Johnny with passion and used most of the opportunities to be rude to him and remind him what he is, but it kinda changed after the grave scene. Like, he was so sure of his greatness, of his cause etc. and then he just saw that nothing about him prevailed. That he was just some pathetic dickhead who destroyed lives of many ppl that held him dear and now lies in unmarked grave in the middle of nowhere. And that's when it hit me - I loved it narratively, but also I really liked seeing Johnny realize that. It humbled him a bit, made him think about stuff, talk to V more and talk more humanly, without his whole overwhelming rage and resentment. Then again, this scene with Johnny abusing V's body, not even asking about his/her opinion (why tell the truth If you don't think it will work out the way you wish, right?) made me again hate him with passion. Such an amazing character, such a jerk, but in the end I'm just sad he didn't realize how much of a douche he was until the grave scene. Could've been so much better betweeb him and V otherwise.
