Actually this game grew on me. Wish it had more cutscenes like the endings in the actual play when you are about to do a mission.

the rogue ending is more likely the canon ending if you really think about it that ending totally complete Johnny's story by having him kill Adam Smasher ....having one last ride with rogue and having Johnny destroying the arasakas like he always wanted, and V finally becaming the Legend of night city like him and Jackie always wanted to be and V wouldnt want the alcedados to die for him specially Panam ....THAT is the ending that sound more canon to me and you got to see while Mr Bleu Eyes send you to assault the crystal palace he made a deal with V maybe he got a Cure for V Mr Bleu eyes is obviously powerful or V can find a Cure in the Palace there a many ways V can be cured with this ending so dont just write it off

Most may not realise as they only see the tiny black spot on an undefiled whiteboard. CD Projekt Red themselves may not realise what they have given us. Seldom does the world get a detailed character study in the form of sheer entertainment. Truly I say, very few have realised. What is death? Its concept? Is it conceivable? Can one comprehend this conundrum? I do not know. The inevitability of death, I say. I don't feel so poignant anymore. I feel empty. Cyberpunk? That cliche-looking futuristic game? I'm not sure how I feel about it. History has been made. Truly, a magnum opus in every sense of the word.

In my opinion the best and technically happiest ending is the "secret" suicide mission but with letting johny take the body.. That way you save practically all of your friends including johny and save yourself from being slowly killed by yourself for 6 months..

I wish there was an alternative alternative ending that allows Johnny into V's body, then have V's psychy into a relic, and then V can just take over his body. Maybe Hanako will be up for shooting after you screwed Arasaka.

For me the best ending is the austronat one -V manages to fulfill jackie's dream by becoming the king of the afterlife -The casino heist. Tarot card the world and strength (if Im not mistaken) shows V manages to succesfully do the casino heist, which grant him unlimited resources. (So he can go back to his loved ones on earth and use the moneh to seek medical help) -Arasaka falls apart -Johnny is safe in cyberspace

I loved the game and finished it 2 times so far. I will try to play with another settings to explore another story lines. The bugs - they mostly occurred in the early game (I had to reload save several times), but nothing that prevented me from finishing the game at all. For me the music also adds to the emotion for each ending, as well as the gameplay itself. It's holiday time, so devs will probably come back to work soon in order to fix remaining bugs (in Poland people mostly are going to come back from vacation after Jan 6th). I hope they release DLC with expanded story mode, as it takes time to develop.

All the endings r garbage ngl, I fkn loved the game until I finished it n realized how pointless all of my efforts was, spent 100+ hrs n I rly regret completing all the side gigs it’s so fkn pointless, unless they release a dlc that makes it possible to save V the game is dead for me, why tf would they make us so attached to a character n then just kill it like 20 hrs in the game...

Bruh i got the worst fucking ending lmao, went to arasaka to get rid of the biochip and then felt like a complete loser for the ending, except i decided to return home from the orbital station but even then i felt like such a failure.

its good, now V can do whatever he wants for 6 months. In my head, he kills yorinobu and the "new" CEO, completely destroying Arasaka. Then he retreats to the countryside and digs a grave for Johnny.

I feel like the pills > Silverhand goes into the black wall ending is the one I like the most. I wish you could tell V to "never stop fighting" before crossing the bridge as Johnny though. Great ending to this game. Edit: It would have been cool to see an ending where both V and Johnny cross the bridge together as well.

The story was so convoluted and dumb that I didn't give a fuck. If that bitch wanted me to run on the treadmill one more time, I would've just killed myself IRL instead of in=hame. Such a horrendously written story in the end. Unnecessarily drawn out and confusing, the dialogue STUNIK, and all of the suspense was sucked out of the scene by the time you had done anything.

No matter what anybody else thinks in my book cyberpunk is one of the best games of all time

you would think that in a world with all they could do with the human body. That they could come up with a robotic brain v could have implanted or a clone body to transfer V into.

Oddly enough, my favourite ending is the "do nothing and commit suicide" ending. It gives a different meaning to the entire story. Instead of someone who fights for his life, you actually see someone who has to come to term with his own death (after he was shot in the head). Johnny Silverhand was actually the voice in his head that screamed for life, that made him fear death. As you progress through the story, you see people dying for their dreams, their convictions, but never the way they wanted. Jackie didn't want to die the way he did, Johnny didn't want to die the way he did. They became so blinded by their ambitions and their goals that their lives didn't belong to them anymore (especially Johnny who ended up in someone else's head). As you approach the end of the game, Viktor helps V realize that if he keeps trying to fight the inevitable, he will end up dying like Jackie and Johnny - a miserable death he didn't want. On the roof, V finally comes to term with his own death. Every time he was close to death, it was on someone else's terms. But this time, he had the choice to die on his own terms. In a certain way, it was also a way to fight all the people who were using him for their own gain, like Arasaka. Johnny understood it and realized that there were other ways to fight, but also that what matters isn't how someone lives, but how he dies (remember how he was proud of his life but realized that it meant nothing when there was no grave for him?). And so, V helped Johnny come to term with his own death as well. And so, they were both able to die the way they wanted to live: as free men. P.S: Johnny's substory with his band was basically V giving Johnny the possibility to say goodbye to his old pals, thing he couldn't do when he was still alive.

I feel like the interaction between Johny and V in cyberspace for the "Attack on Casino / V keeps Afterlife" ending is yet another bug as it is out of context as fuck. Why would V be mad on Johny for wanting to be a loyal friend towards him? Also, Johny always promised he would go away so where's the lie? Goddamnit CDPR xD

It isn't a contradiction. They can both be loyal n selfless to the point where they both want the other to live on. It's simply up to whoever is putting forth the sacrifice vs sacrificing the other. It's simply how the choice is framed. When you sacrifice yourself as V to give Johnny control, Johnny has the same resentment V has as when V sacrificed himself

I guess objectively it isn't a 'bad' ending but I didn't expect to get what I consider the bad ending to be honest. I chose to take the Arisaka route because it meant not risking Panam's or the Aldercado's lives whilst also maintaining control of my own destiny as V which was his main goal. So I did not surrender control to Johnny. You still only have 6 months left to live but it's implied you kinda lose touch with Panam and cannot run away with her anymore which makes it the 'bad' ending for me, she's also extremely mad that you did not ask for her help. So I went back and chose to do the Panam route before watching this video and im glad I did, it was a really sweet ending which had me almost tearing up.

V going for last space jump has so many questions. Who are they talking about that is on the space-casino. Orasaka old dude? because in other endings he he comes back from the dead! and the Black suit guy at the end in afterlife said. You will do anything for a chance to survive. thats why V is taking that crazy last mission. Anyone????

15th day out in there and i feel it has huge potential of being the greatest pc & console ever when you finished the main game (I'm almost sure it will continue in mad max, death stranding combi in the desert and i woulda gues that's why the nomads ending is star. I guess focus main will change even if you ending as Jonny's ending and other endings cause Jonny wants v to live his live make his own choice afterall and then he would try getting you out alt's orld and make things right with panam in the dessert and probably if you choose the arasaka way theycwould need you eventually and you are going to flee out pf night city and will then met the nomads and panam and if you aren't romanced i guess you could try again then and if you go the secret path you will go to a casino but i don't know if you will stay or anything else but i really guess you wil turn back to earth because it's needed for something and you will crash somewhere close tho the nomads and the nomads wil come looking for what fell out of the sky and then you join them and eventually will come there as well the only thing i dont really know is how it's going to continue when you choose for suicide. But i think because some Witcher games where to long followed on base of comments and reviews from public and cd red would decrease the play time of cyberpunk and that time would be like where you have the option to commit suicide so I guess there's you change of not playing any longer. And based of way to much interest in the game I used wemod and used it for unlimited double jumps and then you can go high and when you do you'll see pretty nice houses and bars apartments and even a nightclub some even with palm trees 🌴 and I seemed not being able to enter it from the ground so I guess these are for the next story for the "nomads" and so on so its just movie 1 what we finished now and this is amazing seeing a game doing this big hella choice. What do you guys think ? Please make research after what i said because I'm sure i did not see all buildings and stuff but its hella game with huuuuge potential so comment whatcyou think about this idea i have if its possible or not etc

The ending came so quickliy it feels like they cut out the whole end game. And what does the % thing in the inv mean, it has absolutly zero effect?

@MythSith Well, there is another (Most canon) ending i found, where V and Judy escapes Night City with Panam and the aldacado. Panam said they might have figured out a way to remove the Relic from V, without killing him/her. Edit: Not sure if the % will change anything.

I expected this game to have had alot of choices and paths. For example, making it so you avoid the fucking shot to the head. Keeping Jackie alive, etc etc. What my friends and reviewers have said, the choices you make don't heavily change the game as they made it seem.

Astronaut V looks to be the most apt ending in the context of the story. V sets out to be a legend in Night City and ends up being one.

They all fit. V couldn’t save Jackie but he can save Johnny in Temperance. As a nomad Sun made the most sense for me.

As a female character, the best ending is where you leave with Panam and the Aldecaldos but you also have Judy by your side. It's still a sad ending because Judy says that she's the happiest that she's ever been but V is still going to die within 6 months.

Main story felt heavily rushed. Probably because they cut a bunch of it out to make it shorter. Not a good plan

I got this ending basically its her final heist to an Arasaka Casino. Since she knows shes gonna die she goes guns blazing to a basically suicide mission.

So what if I chose to call Panam on the roof top, and then for the second call, I choose Arasaka’s daughter, what could happen? I mean the story line, not ending.

If you call Hanako Arasaka for the second call then you do the Arasaka ending.

For those who wanna believe that at the end of panams ending that they mention they could cure him they won't. Even in the arasaka ending with the best health service that could be provided they could not reverse the damages made to the body since it effected V at the genetic level. His body would be creating cells that would be imcompatiable with his body eventually making him very ill and he will spend his last few weeks in bed.

I don't think Arasaka was out to cure him in the first place, all they wanted him to do was sign that paper turning V into an engram which would be more useful for them. I mean what happens if Arasaka cures you, you'd leave and how does that help them financially? V a construct of a merc who bested people like Adam Smasher, Miltech, VooDoo Boys, etc. is more profitable for them. I think a cure is possible but only if Arasaka wanted to find it, however they were not this is why Takemura wanted you to sign the paper instead of just leaving and cherishing whatever time you have left.

People who complain about V dying on every ending, or having little to no chance of survival, clearly fucking forgot the whole point of the cyberpunk genre...

Best ending is going in there alone like a true badass and settle things yourself. Don't have to bring anyone else into this mess, don't have to make the same mistakes johnny made. since i romanced panam that made sense since i got scorpion and the crew killed for anders hellman, my corpo V had a heart of gold.
